Calvary Presbyterian Church is unashamedly Presbyterian and a part of the Presbyterian Church, USA. This means, in part, that we are a congregation joined with about 50 other Presbyterian churches in the San Gabriel Presbytery. Our larger geographic link is the Southern California-Hawaii Synod.
We are committed to what is often called traditional style of worship and place a high value on quality choral music as an integral part of worship. We are fortunate in that our pastor, Rev. Rex McDaniel, is an excellent preacher, and that Mike Wilson is a skilled musician and teacher.
The Presbyterian way has lost its popularity in pop culture America. But, as Rex says, it is our way of praising God in Christ and listening for divine direction. Maybe it is your way too. Drop in some Sunday. We are a friendly group.
