Theater Night, May 19

 

We will meet for dinner & attend the Fremont Centre Theatre, next door, for the World Premiere of "Holding On--Letting Go". A young man, 51, in failing health, finds himself confronted by choices: whether to fight for every breath or make preparations for a graceful exit.

Bake Sale Sunday May 20, 11 a.m.

It has been Calvary’s tradition to cover the cost for youth (up to age 18) to attend our All-Church Family Retreats.  Our next retreat is February 22 -24, 2013, at Grindling Hilltop Camp in Malibu.

As part of our fundraising efforts, we will be having a bake sale on Sunday February 5th during coffee hour.

We ask families with youth to please bring baked goods that can be sold that morning.

Please bring your items to Preschool Room 10 by 9:30 a.m. that morning.  Please contact Shauna Lee with any questions.
 

Hymn Sing, Sunday May 27

 

 

Come to South Parlor after worship on Pentecost for an informal, kid-friendly, hymn sing - en Español!

Light refreshments will be served following the hymn sing.

No previous Spanish is required.  Just bring your spirit and your voice.

 
 

SonRise National Park VBS Monday - Friday, August 6-10, 9am-12 noon


Get ready for exciting wilderness thrills as you head out to beautiful SonRise National Park! Kids will be awestruck by snow-capped mountains, thundering waterfalls and amazing animals, like soaring eagles and friendly huskies...As kids explore SonRise National Park, they'll learn the most important survival skill of all: always to depend on Jesus and His promises!

South Pasadena Churches are teaming up again to bring you the best Vacation Bible School in town!

Who: Children ages 4 through 11 (5th grade)

When: Monday through Friday, August 6-10, 2012, 9am-12 noon
