Prayer Group, Mondays 7:30 pm
A prayer group will start Monday, June 17, at 7:30 p.m. We are told to pray without ceasing! Come with your prayers for your families, our church and our troubled world. Lorna Venkataraman will help facilitate. Over the course of time we will also take time to explore the meaning of prayer, and look at some classical prayers and hymns. Caring Together Support Group, Mondays 1:30 pm
"Caring Together" is for anyone who feels a need to just talk about problems, physical or otherwise. It's a support group in the best sense: not geared to give advice or solve problems, but only to be there for each other, to listen and care, and to help ease some of the stress or sadness. First meeting is June 10, at 1:30pm in the church

The 30-minute concerts start promptly at 12:10p and are followed by a time for visiting while we enjoy a brown bag lunch available for a nominal donation ($3).
Plan to arrive by noon – the doors near the Chancel area will be closed during the concert and those arriving late must enter on the Fremont side through the Narthex.
Mark your calendar now for the other Fridays through June 28. Then, call and invite a friend! We hope to share this experience with all of our South Pasadena community friends and neighbors.

Junior High Work Week, June 17-21; 9am-5pm
What is it? An amazing week of learning, fun, and service. A different service project in a different city every day, concluding with a day of surf camp on Friday.
What’s The Cost? $75 per person. Cost includes T- shirt and van rental for the week.
Who’s It For? Students who will be in 6th- 8th Grades in Fall 2013.

VBS, August 5-9, 9 a.m. - Noon
Who: Ages 4 through 5th graders (completed)
What: VBS fun and VBS counseling
When: Week of August 5th, 9 a.m. to noon.
Where: Right here at Calvary! 1050 Fremont Ave., South Pasadena,
Why: Give your child a fun-filled week and a chance to discover God's love through creative art projects, high-energy games, Bible story adventures, and dynamic music. Middle Schoolers and High Schoolers are invited to participate as VBS counselors. Parents are invited to join the VBS team! Every year it is a wonderful adventure!
